The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) was launched by the Government of India on 25 July 2014 to strengthen rural power infrastructure and electrify un-electrified villages.

व्याख्या: दीन दयाल उपाध्याय ग्राम ज्योति योजना (DDUGJY) भारत सरकार द्वारा 25 जुलाई 2014 को प्रारंभ की गई थी। इसका उद्देश्य ग्रामीण विद्युत वितरण व्यवस्था को सुदृढ़ करना तथा सभी गैर-विद्युतीकृत गाँवों का विद्युतीकरण करना था।
