The Satpura Range is a major mountain range of the Peninsular Plateau in central India. It is located between the Narmada River (to the north) and the Tapi (Tapti) River (to the south).

The Satpura Range runs east–west across central India and forms a natural barrier between the Narmada and Tapi river valleys.
