Who nominates the members of the Legislative Council?

The State Governor nominates a portion of the members of the Legislative Council based on the recommendations made by the Chief Minister and the State Cabinet. The rest are elected by various constituencies and bodies.
राज्यपाल, मुख्यमंत्री एवं राज्य मंत्रिपरिषद की सिफारिश पर विधान परिषद के कुछ सदस्यों को नामित करते हैं। शेष सदस्यों का निर्वाचन विभिन्न निर्वाचन मंडलों एवं निकायों द्वारा किया जाता है।
