Section 6 of the Arms Act prohibits shortening or altering the barrel of a firearm to make it easily concealable. Violation of this provision is punishable under Section 25 of the Arms Act. Therefore, both sections are applicable.
व्याख्या: आर्म्स एक्ट की धारा 6 के अंतर्गत किसी आग्नेयास्त्र की नाल को इस प्रकार छोटा करना कि उसे आसानी से छिपाया जा सके, निषिद्ध है। इस प्रावधान के उल्लंघन के लिए धारा 25 के अंतर्गत दंड का प्रावधान है। इसलिए दोनों धाराएँ लागू होती हैं।
