SSC CGL 2026 Recruitment Notification
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026. SSC CGL is one of the most popular competitive examinations in India, conducted every year to recruit graduates for various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in Ministries, Departments, Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Tribunals, and Government Offices.
Eligible candidates can submit their online applications through the SSC website from 21 May 2026 to 22 June 2026.

SSC CGL 2026 Eligibility
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification on or before the prescribed date mentioned in the official notification.
Certain posts may require specific educational qualifications such as Statistics, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, or related subjects.
Age Limit
The age limit varies depending on the post. Generally, candidates should be between 18 and 32 years. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per Government rules.
SSC CGL 2026 Selection Process
The SSC CGL Examination will be conducted in two tiers:
- Tier-I (Computer Based Examination)
- Tier-II (Computer Based Examination)
Candidates qualifying Tier-I will be shortlisted for Tier-II.

Tier-I consists of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.
