Part IV A of the Indian Constitution was inserted in the Indian Constitution through Constitutional Amendment Act.

Explanation

Part IV-A of the Indian Constitution, which deals with Fundamental Duties (Article 51A), was inserted by the 42nd Constitutional Amendment Act, 1976.

42nd Constitutional Amendment Act, 1976 is also known as the Mini Constitution because it made several significant changes to the Constitution.

It added Part IV-A containing 10 Fundamental Duties based on the recommendations of the Swaran Singh Committee.

Later, the 86th Constitutional Amendment Act, 2002 added the 11th Fundamental Duty, making the total 11 Fundamental Duties.
